Need a 6-pin to 4-pin atx 12v power connector, help?

I've just changed my PSU and realised that on my motherboard I need a 4-pin ATX 12v power connector but the wire on my PSU is a 6-pin, the computer doesn't boot, I assume this is the problem. Do these exist?

What Psu do you have now?

Are you sure that 6 pin is the CPU wire not a PCI one?
Also does it split to make a 4 pin?

UPDATE: The PC boots completely but with no video input (nothing shows on my monitor).

Its definately a PCI wire and it doesn't split.

The PCI wire is for graphics cards, usually they are 6+2 pins.
For the CPU it will either be a 4+4/8 pin or just a 4 pin.

^or there will be seperate 4-pin and 8-pins... I think my PSU is like that.

You need to look for the 8 pin which splits into 2 x 4 pin connectors.

Your PSU has 4 PCI-E connectors, which should be 6 + 2.

Wait what wire are you splittin? DO NOT split the PCI wire.

I would seriously advise against taking a stanley knife anywhere near a PSU unless you are an electrician.

I hope you're kidding.

If the 8 pin splits into 2x4pin the two halves simply pull apart.

Do not go cutting any of the power connectors.
