Hey everyone,

I'm posting here because i've been looking at buying a new computer for gaming, but i'm not sure where to begin!

My budget is roughly £800-900 and i need a screen as well. I have all the other peripherals though. I'll be using it mainly for gaming, but also HD video playback and editing.

Is it possible to get games such as Skyrim, Battlefield and the soon to be released Dishonored running on high or ultra (ultra may be a bit of an over reach) on this kind of budget?

Thanks a lot for your help :)

Has to be Window 7 Professional 64bit which will allow up to 192gb of memory.

Whereas Windows 7 Home 64bit only allows 16gb of memory.

Thanks, looks pretty nice. But i've heard people say that the coolermaster's aren't too great, should i stump up an extra bit of cash and go for a corsair one?
The Cooler Master Hyper 612S CPU cooler has a Quick-snap fan bracket which allows you to attach another fan onto the heatsink but if you can stretch your budget abit more you can get a better CPU cooler

Thank you, i think i would go for a non B-Grade HDD since i download and remove a lot of stuff on a daily basis, the extra warranty is nice too.

for £900 you should be able to play most games on ultra, maybe not BF3 but not 100% sure tbh as i dont own it.

I don't play BF myself but i know it's then benchmark for high performance these days which is why i asked. It's nice to know the kind of builds that people kindly listed above should be capable of playing games on ultra though, i've always had to play on lower settings or use my 360 in the past.

And i can't wait to make my computer my primary gaming platform :)
