Someone who i bought from need's to give me a refund as i opened a dispute in ebay which give's them 10 days to do so after 5 days they finally responded saying that they would give me a refund but they said i would have to wait till they put the money in paypal before they can issue me a refund, so i gave them a few days and they told me that the funds were in paypal and they just had to clear which usally takes 2-3 working days they told me but now they have sent me an echeck that is due to "clear" on the 7th may,
My question is that shouldn't the funds be in my account if they credited theirs not this echeck and do you think the person is wasting time as the case will automatically closed if i don't escalate it in the remaining 8 days?

p.s i paid via paypal/credit card - is there a timelimit which i can issue a chargeback?
