need a bit of help thinking of live streaming

hi im thinking of live streaming my computer can handle fraps just fine so i tihnk its good for streaming the question is


a friend recently got hold of blackmagic intensity pro hd streaming device can this be used to stream pc games hes not yet set it up so i cant ask him and rather find out form people who do know


i want to stream pc games using this hardware to reduce online lag is this possible ? as streaming while playing seems cause cause me in game lag or at least minor lag but is annoying

ive seen people using these for console streaming but i wondered if it can be used on pc streaming aswell my pc does have hdmi capability

Im not 100% sure, but logic would tell me that it still has to stream it over the internet, using the same amount of traffic. So I assume it would still cause you minor lag.

yea i thought so to but i thought it would cut the lag so its more playable if what im saying makes any sense
