Need a bulk converter to convert to MP3 my music files.

Foobar 2000. It's primarily a music player but it has file conversion as a feature and works far better than anything else for that purpose.

Switch from the company NCH. It installs shortcuts to their other products (just delete from the startup menu) and at the end of the 30 day trial just uninstall to be given the option for the free version, but for simple drag, drop, click conversions it's pretty much perfect.

lord im confused now lol. Sorry guys.

OK I have a playlist in iTunes with 180 songs on it and some are not in mp3 format. I just want to play them in my car on the cd player that can play dvd's and mp3's.

itunes should be able to do it for you. i *think* you can change the default rip settings to mp3 and that will allow you to convert files that are already in your library.

Hi yes iTunes does it but it places each song in its own folder within another folder, so id have to go dig through a folder 150 times to get the song.

Lame XP will do a batch convert of audio files to MP3, I think thats what you're asking?

will preserve/transfer metadata tags

iTunes uses M4A iirc, you might need to download and install Nero AAC decoder (link is provided by program)

(if they're DRM encrypted then only iTunes will touch them)
