Need a card for Bioshock

Thanks for all the replies :)
I've read rumours of a demo, so I'll wait and see what kind of performance people are getting with various cards after its release.

Potential spanner in the works?

My current PC is a Dell, the PSU is only rated at 305W
The label reads as follows:
+3.3V 17A
+5V 22A
+12VA 18A
+12VB 18A

I've read the X1950 Pro needs 28A so it's looking like it's out of the question unless I get a new PSU.

The 28A is a whole system figure not just for the graphics card alone. I know your power supply says 18A on each 12v rail but I would take those figures with a big hulking fist of salt.

My reason for saying that is that 18A is already 216w. For a 305w power supply I wouldn't be surprised if the combined output of the 12v rails turned out to only be 20A or thereabouts. Just for comparison my old 380w Tagan only had 22A on its 12v rail.
