Hi guys.
I have been asked by a colleague of the wife's to help him out as "you know about computers and stuff.". He's looking for a laptop:
- Basic home use - internet, email, light MS Office work
- Built in WiFi (explained it's impossible not to have that these days)
- Matte screen - he can't stand reflective
- About £350
I have no problem speccing which processor/GPU/RAM/HDD/screen size, etc to go for, but the screen reflectivity is causing me major headaches. Very few specs list whether the screen is reflective or matte, and only about 1 in 4 laptops I've found on the usual sites have reviews on t'interweb that mention this.
Can anyone recommend some laptops with matt screens for this price bracket, or am I best to limit my selection to just bricks and mortar stores so I can physically check the screens?
Thanks for any help.
