Hey, I've got an xBlade and tbh I'm sick of looking at its crap n cheap plastic look. I'm looking to get something new, similar size, maybe a bit bigger, with decent cooling, I'm willing to buy the fans myself for whats needed. I was looking at the Coolermaster stacker, but its a mile out of my price range. However I do like its subtle good looks, the mesh design would look great with some LEDs inside imo.

I was thinking of something like a Tsunami Dream or a Gigabyte Aurora, any other suggestiong with pics?

The best build quality you'll ever find in a case, excellent cooling and absolutley fantastic value for money. Looks better in person, being brushed aluminium.

I really want the Black one. Everything else with my PC is black, so the the silver *** be out of place.

Any chance of MM having them? The site seems to be sold out.

Given that they're successfully sold out, and my 2nd choice Aguila has gone that way as well, what else can you suggest? The Eclispe does appear to be a bit plain and boring?

Hmmm, have to say that does look smart. I take it it doesn't come with those fans as well? Does it come with the window side panel as well? What other accessories can you get with them? I take it that thats a temperature LCD no the front you have there?

If you don't want a boring case buy a X-Blade case with 10,000 superbright LED's. Oh wait.

Which Stacker were you looking at? Not the overpriced 830? My Black 810 looks great, no LED fans.

I suggest you grow out of the kiddie LED fan/gaming and side window case mentality. The LL 7+ is a nice case.

Look at the damn monitor, not LED fans/side window.

Yeah, you're a mile off the point.

I'm after something with subtle good looks. My current xblade is cheap and tacky. I'm looking for something thats a bit more appealling, that still doesn't mean that you can't see what going on inside with a window and some lights here and there.

Whats with all the agressive posts recently squiffy? There's no need for them. The OP has asked us to spec him a new less tacky case. It doesn't mean he can't want LEDs and windows. Also LEDs and windows doesn't mean that a case is a 'kiddie' or 'gaming' case. If done right, it can be very stylish.

thank you, thats the look im really looking for. That guy's Eclipse look like something along the right lines.

They serve no purpose except to look tacky, therefore they're kiddie. Why do you need to look inside the case except when checking it over (and you'll remove the side panel to do that) What is so interesting with looking at PC components? Why do people have their cases with side windows facing forward? Cathodes? Why bother with UV dye and colour matched cables/DFI motheboard connectors? Totally pointless, but I guess they create a market to "boy racer users". A PC is to be used. With that PC above I would disconnect the LED's as they're annoying shining during gaming, and put the case on the floor.

I would be interested what the average age is between those do lights/side window and those who just buy a plain sturdy case and leave it without LED's/cathodes/UV dye. And those who grow up and look at their PC and think what a waste of money for purely cosmetic reasons.

Any a nice black understated case ie Silverstone/Lian Li will suffice.

Its personal preference really.

If I wanted someone to guess my age judging on whether I could keep a solar power station running, then I'd have asked. In this particular case, I didn't.

In my bedroom, I don't have much room on my desk or on my floor, and in a lot of cases, if I wanted the case to be on the floor, it would be so far away that some of cables wouldn't be long enough to reach some of my peripherals. So I'm going to have to put it on my desk, seeing as I can make a case look more appealling than a stack of magazines.

Given that, the case is a big feature in my room. A big chunk of black aluminium wouldn't really help the already dull atmosphere in here. A few lights here and there would actually provide a more relaxing mood in here. They're hardly ****** lights you see in "boy racer" cars you talk about.

Ultimately, its clear you don't have a helpful word to say towards me query, so please GTFO>>>

burtieb1: Could you tell me what that is you have on the front of yours then? cheers.

this is pointless flaming, if you don't like a windowed case then don't come and slate someones mentality, or their opinions, i myself am only 17(at time of post) my 1st case from my own build was an antec sonata II which is very stylish, and dosnt come with a 'boy racer' style side window, however, my second build will be using a WINDOWED thermaltake tsunami/soprano, because i want to SEE what i have spent my own hard earned money on, i don't want it to be stuck behinde a black/silver panel for only the dust to see.

and yes, it will be using cathodes, and LED's on both my CPU and VGA coolers!! ;) but who are you to question my age or my mentaility, leave us people who want to view are money sinks alone!
