I recently got an Xbox 360, and got it with 3 games, PGR3 (still pretty fun I guess), GoW (OMG are you serious with this thumb stick aiming crap, lets not even start on Halo 3) and Crackdown (fun until you get 4* in everthing, then just repetative). I have been for past 5 days been playing Enchanted Arms, excellent game very Final Fantasy-like, but a recent crash (lost about 5 hrs out of 22 hrs since last save) meant I just couldnt go through it again to get to where I was because fun as it was, it wasnt that fun enough to do over again with the hard bosses I just barely beat.

My question is are there any other RPG games to play for Xbox 360, excluding Oblivion (didnt really get into the PC version), are there any Final Fantasys coming out soon for Xbox or game of similar type (building up a character types).

Blue Dragon
Lost Odyssey

Think those are the two massive ones coming out this year (or early 08)

You may also be able to still download the Eternal Sonata/Trusty Bell deo from the Japanese marketplace (the demo is all in English).

I found it very FF-ish.

Don't forget you can also play some of the old XBOX titles on the 360 - not sure if there are any good RPGs out on the old format.

Star Wars Knights Of The Old Republic Rocks!

Also Jade Empire is excelent, though you may not class it as rpg.

Two Worlds is already out on the PC and due out on the 360 at the end of June. It was meant for May but was delayed as MS were totally unhappy at the number of bugs. (The PC version is up to patch 1.4).

It's looking pretty good though.

Blue Dragon should be out August though there are rumours they're far further ahead with translating than expected so this could be an unexpected July release.

Lost Odyssey will be getting a christmas release.

Eternal Sonata another jrpg and is being released in Japan in July. It's looking very very good and as the japanese demo included English text and speech everyone's hoping the US/UK release will be soon after.

Mass Effect will be ready when it's ready (they keep telling us) so fingers crossed this means Q3.

Enchanted Arms is worth playing through again though, go on, you know you want to. How far did you get? I loved and finished it.

Don't forget Phantasy Star Universe is out and isn't too bad if you like jrpgs.

Also Marvel is an action rpg and a good one at that.

I have been eyeing up Phantasy Star, but was not sure if it was a jrpg, since you just confirmed it I will take a look into it.

Hehe on enchanted arms only got to the fire emporer and keep dying on him, so 39% in and very weak (didnt understand the attribute system till abut 38% in so needless to say I have a good few hundred wasted points on duff attributes), rented it from bomerang, may give it ago again sometime (sent it back today). cheers for all the suggestions people, should have stated I was into jrpgs, thought I am considering Fable series (ya I know very Oblivion esque, but it looks nice.)
