Need a decent video camera

Looking for a decent video camera to take to Vietnam has to be waterproof as I will be doing snorkeling and going to the many beautiful beaches on Phu Quoc.

I will also be on the back of a motorbike doing tours so need some good accessory if possible.

tbh, a gopro sounds ideal for all that.

I've only experience of the new basic Hero model and the wide angle can be a little odd but the later models have adjustable FOV.

Waterproof cases, body, head and helmet straps etc.

I was thinking Go pro but the battery lasts only 2 hours not so great if on the go all day?

the better models have replacement batteries
I don't know many cameras that last more than a few hours of continual use.
