need a few new games

i want a new strat like game

strats ive played
AOE2 - loved.....
COH - couldnt get in it its seem very hard to build up
AOE3 - sucks badly
CNC3 - not bad but boring
Dawn of War - not bad but bit repeative
Empire total war - Far to buggy cant play it at all.

Empire earth 2 - Enjoyed it nice game

any ideas on a good one for me?
ps. i saw empire earth 3 any gd?

i want a new FPS somthing like UT3 style
i would love to play UT3 but sound doesnt work >< it runs perfectly but no sound in game only in the main video..

settlers 6 - really good game but quite easy
Anno 1404 - didn't play it yet but has good reviews
Those games are more economic strat than rts so I don't know if you like them though

Rise of Nations / Legends? they're in a similar vein of the EE games.
Supreme Commander also would be a good shout.

I'd try CoH again, by very hard to build up - do you mean base building?

It's more of a combat/tactical game than traditional RTS games, games are suppose be to over quicker.

Empire Earth 3 is awful.

Age of mythology

c and c generals i prefare that to ra3 and still got a strong online community.

Coh is worth another try it took me awhile to get into it but it gets good the more you play it

As for ut style of games its slim pickings theres quake 3 and live and quake 4

If I have to challenge every fan of the series (and it seems more & more likely that I will), eventually I'll make people understand that the first was better.

Edit: Beasts & Bumpkins. If you can get it to work, you'll never forget it. Should be easy enough to pick up as abandonware now. While you're tehre, see if you can get Crusader: No Remorse/Regret.
