Well, it would be 'quite' helpful to know what games you'd like to run with that rig.

Being helpful though, that's a powerful rig, so should run most things well at high details.

In regard to games; have you played BioShock yet? What games have you played...?

well if you want a BIG RPG then I guess theres nothing bigger than World of Warcraft...as for FPS I would try out bioshock, certainly a good game to showcase your hardware :)

thanks i was also thinking of playing tom clancy's advance warfighter 2( tell me if its worth it ), then waiting for cod 4 or quake enemy teritory or cryisis which of those three id like 2 so could you tell me whats the best

Forget WoW. Thats not even a roleplaying game. You dont play 'a role' in the tradational sense. Nothing you do in the game matters at all. I think the first decent MMORPG will be Warhammer Online but that is coming out early 2008

I played wow once on a freinds pc and i dont get it. What the heck do you achieve in the game, also its really boring.

...and here we have a prime example of why the internet shouldn't be allowed in certain institutions.

I have to say WoW was on of the most boring games I've ever encountered.

having 2 level 70s and being in a good end game raiding guild I have to concur. The first time I leveled to 60 (back in 2005) it was actually pretty good fun. Then I leveled a second character to 60 and it was still fairly good as I did a few things I missed out first time around. End game raiding pre TBC was still pretty good fun when you were doing the 40 man raids in MC,BWL, AQ40, Naxx, Ony and the world dragons and bosses. However since the release of TBC I think its got a lot more boring. The first few months were still OK as you were levelling in new areas etc. But once you hit the end game stuff it is probably 100x more boring than it was pre TBC.

The 5 man stuff is OK especially if you can run heorics with your mates, but like the poster above said, nothing you do makes a difference. There are no real consequences or rewards to any of your actions. The Trade skills side of the game is crap.

The only MMO i have played that I think player actions actually meant something or had outcomes is EVE and to a certain extent SWG before SOE butchered. Even DAoC had some goals where the players could set up relic raids and go and actively take keeps in enemy lands. WoW pvp is mindless, boring and repetitive and has no consequences especially the BGs which are just a mindless honor grind so you can get some epics if you can't or don't want to raid PvE
