I need some help, I have around £1500 to spend. Looking to get a real beast of a PC with this amount of money.

Will be for rendering videos/multitasking/gaming.

Would recommend this build, it is just so nice looking but also got awesome components

What program are you using?

Do you know if you can use GPU render or is it CPU bound.

If you can use GPU rendering I would suggest you do use it. It is quicker than CPU rendering alone.

If that is the case id suggest RJC's build.

If it is CPU bound id just get a single 280x and try and fit a 4930k unto the budget

Just been doping myself a bit more research for you..

It seems GPU rendering can be 2-5 times faster than CPU rendering alone. Which is good, though you do need Vegas 11 or above to use it..

I don't know if you keepp upto date with you're software but SLI/Xfire GPU rendering will not be supported until Vegas 13 (rumored).

Are you planning on getting 13 or stick with what you currently have for a while?

If you were getting 13, id go for something like RJC's first spec with 2 x 280's..

If you are keeping your version (11 or 12), id suggest something like (well) RJC's second spec

I will happily do you a spec once i know whether you'll be able to utilise Xfire or not.
