My VM Superhub won't forward ports and im also flaling short of 100mb download by 10-12mbs.

I'm a little consufed as to whata good gaming router is, i want to run a server as well as stream on twitch.tv

Are there any experts in this area here? I'd really appreciate some suggestions as i'm very confused.

you need the super hub as a modem, your on virgin cable so its needed ,you cannot get away from that ,
so put it in modem mode and get a asus router for the router side off the hub ,the asus will do wifi and port forwarding very well

Am i not able to get an all-in-one modem/wirless/wired router without the superhub in modem mode? I don't want boxes and wires everywhere.

if your on virgin cable no,because you have to use the one they supply ,its locked to there network and ADSL routers(phone line) do not work on Cable (virgin cable),
you can stick with the super hub and have naf port forwarding and wifi or get a cable router and put the super hub in modem mode and see your router problems go away
sorry

Why won't it forward ports? What issue are you having?

The ASUS RTN-56U would be a good replacement router, you'll still need to use the superhub in modem mode.

It won't forward ports because it is a PoS. After googling, many people are unable to forward ports on the superhub.

It sucks that im stuck with this superhub no matter what. Am i still limited by the superhub when it is in modem mode? Or will it just basically pass traffic without block or interfering in any way?

My PC will act as a server for an mmorpg and i also stream. Will the ASUS be a good replacement for that kind of traffic?

It looks very good and all the reviews are form people replacing their superhub. I'll just see if there are any latest models and if not ill buy this one i think.

yes thats the one ,once the hub in modem mode and the asus is set up you will not have to touch it unless virgin messes your connection up
