Hi,

I am seeking a bit of advice, please.

I've wasted time and money seeking a new mouse and have either returned (Pulsar mouse) which was a bit small and caused my arthritis to really suffer or wasted money like I have this week on an Attack Shark X8Se which is a really nice mouse, but the back part has a higher slope, so this is also starting to make the pain in my hand worsen after only two days of owning it.

The mouse that has caused me the least pain in recent years is the glorious model O, but it behaves weird sometimes, not that smooth and from what I gather mouse technology has moved on a bit since its release.

So, could anyone point me in the right direction of a light (under 65g preferably) wired mouse (use a KVM), with same shape as a Glorious Model O with a low slung back but with good reliability, decent switches and a roll-wheel that doesn't take your skin off after a while (Pulsar mouse did this)??

Many thanks.

Rather than a mouse, try a trackball. I switched to trackballs after getting RSI. My preferred trackball is the Kensington Expert Mouse (yes, really), but I also like their Orbit Elite models. You might also try a vertical mouse.

I didn't even know about the O 2 version or the O 3 - thank you Armageus!

It looks like both of these have kept the same similar shape as the original, but the Model O 3 looks like it might have a slightly bigger rear-end.

I wish there was somewhere near me that I could 'test-drive' a few mice. I try to pop into my local big electronic store occasionally just to see and check a few mice that they have on display, but it is usually only a few Corsair and Logitech.

I would be willing to try a trackball or a vertical mouse Quartz.

*elsewhere* usually have a Hyper X Pulsefire Haste on show.

Use *elsewhere* for hassle free returns?

If the Performance of Model O wasn’t up to your requirements then the Haste Pro 2 has top tier sensor etc. (Avoid the Core Version)

It seems to be well reviewed and has the same shape that you are used too.
