i need a good calander that I can access on both 2 different pc's running windows 8.1 and my android phone, and wherby i can input data from either machine and it updates them all.

i've heard google and microsoft have a problem with each other and so dont like sharing each others infomation

IIRC, microsoft released a new outlook.com app for android and iOS just the other day. i don't have a smartphone so i have no idea if it's any good or not. :p

on the desktop you can use the built in calendar app with your microsoft account or you can download windows live mail which is a normal desktop app which connects to your MS account.

i have thought google calendar works in more places, e.g windows, android, iOS etc, and then the apps on android all use google calendar so you're more free to which app shows you the details.

there isnt an official windows app for google, and the ones i looked at apparently were not working correctly. i barely use a calander and the only reason i need it is to log important uni dates such as assignments and so forth

i've installed the official outlook app on my phone which allows me to access my microsoft calender pretty easy with a text box that shows whats coming up too, that will also work nicely on both my laptop and pc syncing together

i dont understand the benefits of using google calander when there isnt an official google app on the microsoft store? the 3rd party ones all get poo reviews from bugs and silly design. what benefits am i missing out from not using google calander?
