Hi all,

Basically as the title states. My Dad wants a graphics card that will enable him to run 2 monitors (same image on both monitor). Doesn't have to be anything special or fancy, just do the job, he only uses it to show pictures etc, so basically as cheap as possible.

Any suggestions? Thanks.

Yeah he has VGA and DVI ports on the monitors. So the graphics card would output on both outputs at the same time? Sorry to sound an idiot but I have never done that before!

You can set the second monitor to be in "clone" mode which will output exactly the same image as the first. Alternatively you can choose to extend your windows desktop.

Ive got a 9500GT use the VGA output to my local monitor and a 5m HDMI lead to put films onto my 32" TV other side of room. Works a treat

The onboard GPU on my mobo allows me to run two screens. Can you tell us what mobo he has or stick a pic up of the I/O on the back of the rig? It's possible he may not need to buy one at all!
