Anyway ladies and gents, ive put this post here as i figured most would see it and it is gaming related.

For my degree in Computer Games Design im doing a dissertation entitled

'An Investigation into Architectural and Environmental Modelling, Texturing and Lighting' and i need some volunteers.

anyway to cut a long story short i have 3 videos for you to watch, and after watching each one can you fill out the accompanying Questionnaire.

The videos are about 2-3 minutes each, and the Questionnaires will only take a minute or two to complete at most.

Done.
Just a couple of points (if you don't mind):
Regarding Colour; game designers do not seem to take into consideration Colour Blindness, Red/Green/Brown colour blindness is probably the most common sight defects yet these colours are usually used (in close shades which causes the problem) in games to create a realistic environment & charcters. For example, in CoD:W@W enemy player are shown with a red name tag and friendly players are shown with a green tag, in certain environments these can be immpossible to distinguish. Likewise, a player in say green fatigues can be impossible to distinguish against a brown environment.
To resolve this all that has to be done is the designers to consider the pallette they are using and and move the green and brown one or two shades away from each other.
It is hard for a non-colour blind person to understand but it would make us colorblind gamers life a lot easier ;)
(FYI I am colour blind and worked as Graphic Designer with no issues, although once my boss said "I said do it brown, but it does look better now you've done it green" :D)

Done Mate - would have prefered it if you put a sometimes option in the yes/no answer parts but it's completed now :).

It's a bit of a black or white questionnaire for such an artistic subject. Every game is different and in turn different levels of shadowing and colour usage could be more applicable. For example, echochrome, the game is completely black and white but it works for its own style, because of that you can't for example ask how many colours are best for environments in games as it changes from game to game.

Winging aside, did my best at filling it in. Good luck.

+1 quoted for the truth. More games should have a colourblind mode.
