Been using a cheapo saitek twin mushroom jobby for a while.

Whilst its ok for arcadey shootemups the analogue mode isnt analoguous enough for driving games like grid or dirt.

Can anyone reccommend a good joypad with good analogue mode please.?

It depends if you like the arrangments of the buttons on the 360 control. I don't and prefer the PS3 layout, so I prefer the Wireless Rumble Pad 2. It's whatever you feel comfortable using.

Yes, think that is due to the fact that the accelerate and brake are pressure sensitive in GRID (only used the xbox pad myself, I would spin off if I didn't have the pressure sensitive accelerate:p).

I use the Wireless Xbox 360 controller for my PC, you can get the bundle for around £30 iirc.

I've been used to the Playstation joypads as had a PS1 & 2, however, I bought the wired Xbox 360 controller for use on my PC and have been well happy with it.
