Need a laser printer...

Hi guys,

I need a mono laser printer for home.

Now, I'm a big fan of Canon stuff, but I've got experience of HP in the past and always found them to be fantastic.

What do people recommend? I want it to look smart and presentable, don't want it looking cheap or flimsy.

Want it to have a front feeding paper tray as well as an inbuilt one.

Budget? Not sure how much they cost...but lets not get silly now

ive got a HP P1005. nice little thing. maybe a tad on the noisey side though. Toners aint too badly priced either.

How much should one expect to pay? and how much are the toners?

Evening, sorry for the half-response!

the unit comes in at around the £50 mark assuming you look around. I'd give you a name, but im sure they are classed as competition.

As for the toners - Originals are around £40-£45. recycled toners (which i use and have no problem with) about £25 with a yeild of 2,500 pages.

oh dear! were you over-working the poor thing? inkjets either dry up or die. far from helpful. i dont think you'll go wrong with a small laser.

Is it suddenly all the rage not to have an internal paper tray? but to have it sticking out the front?
