Need a light Windows Firewall

XP has been driving me nuts on my home server recently so I have switched back to Win2k. I would run Linux ideally but my USB ADSL modem requires Windows as its emulator based.

Can anyone reccomend a free firewall which is light on resources and does not add much ms to the overall ping.

Windows 2000 does not have a build in firewall..

i used to like zone alarm 3.7 (tis a very old version compared to todays bloatware) when i used windows 2000. very simple to use and light on reources. not sure how it affects pings though?

Usually I'd recommend ZoneAlarm - I've used it for a couple of years now and it's been good. However, since having my PC connected wirelessly to a router, it seems to 'stop' a lot of internet traffic (such as websites) after a few hours of me not using the machine. MSN will still work, and if I close ZA and relaunch it, all is well again. Very annoying.
