Need a Linux compatible IDE controller please.??

Hi all, Can anyone suggest a good (cheap if possible) IDE controller as I'd like to run Linux on my setup using my spare IDE drives.

Just have a look at on some online stores and find one which says Linux compatible, I guess. I assume your motherboard is SATA only then.

There is also the http://www.linuxcompatible.org/compatibility.html lists, not sure how up-to-date they are though..?
