need a little advice

well 3 months ago i bought a 40gig HDD to get my comp up and running i was low on cash old HDD was shot it wouldn't boot so picked up a 40 gig to get me by. well space is running out now just wondered should i keep the 40 gig for windows OS and buy a 1tb just for storage or should i just scrap the 40gig altogether.
I think modern drives are a lot faster than this flea bay one i picked up but i could be wrong lol

I'd ditch it tbh. Samsung F* hard drives are highly thought of. I have a 320gb f1 myself. So it just depends how much storage space you need.

well considering the amout of space pc games take i was thinking a 1TB i mean a lot of my command and conquer games take up a lot especially red alert 3 which takes up 11gig

Yep, get the drive David suggested. An alternative though is the WD Caviar Black 1TB.

The F3 is a great HDD, and it's just a little faster than the caviar black but the F3s are always out of stock lol
