need a little help macking a google sitemap and with sitemaps in general

The easiest way of doing this is to use http://www.xml-sitemaps.com/ which will generate the XML for you.

You can always see how it's made if you'd prefer to write your own in future.

I dont think so, just create 1 sitemap and then subtmit to search engine. Search engine robot will index your site.
