Hello :)

In the picture below ...the blue circle sits there for as long as two minutes when I boot my system up and the system is a little un-responsive until the blue circle goes away........it's only been like this since I have been using my Asus Formula Z motherboard ......i have updated the BIOS for the mobo about 3 weeks ago but it was the same before
Also I did reinstall the Intel Gigabit LAN driver to see if that would make any difference...but it didnt, ....is this common to this mobo and should ii just leave it alone, , or is it an issue that needs resolving please ?

P.S....im connected via Ethernet , not wireless

Thank you :)

Have you rebooted your router?

Are there any other PCs / devices on your network with a similar issue?

Have you tried using a windows driver (as auto detected) for your NIC?

Is there anything showing in your event logs?

Is your router handing out IPs (DHCP)?

Can you ping your router while wondows is showing the blue circle?

Post up ipconfig /all

dont use a network at home...although all four pcs are using the router ( Asus RT-N56U - 300Mbps Dual Band Wireless N Router )...they are not connected to each other and all use Ethernet ,and no mine is the only pc having this issue .

just to add the router goes into a virgin media super hub that is used in modem mode .

also everything ..the router, pcs, the lot are turned off at night

and to be totally honest with you Unleashed i have no clue as to the other things you mentioned
