Need a little help removing elch p1 glue

Well to cut a long story someone last night tried to remove my mountune spoiler extensions. They was attached with elch p1 glue which came in the kit. Now the person who tried to knick them managed to snap the extensions and leave the excess glue still on my mk7 fiesta spoiler. I need to remove the glue but how? I have tried auto smart tardis but that doesn't shift it. Doss anyone have any ideas? Many thanks.

Tried petrol? Seems to shift some sticky stuff. Clean car straight after though.

I'd try acetone first.
