Need a little help...

Got given a comp not sure what was up with it, Ive put in some ram, hd, and a 256mb gfx card

but when I turn on the monitor says no signal, the lights fans etc run on mobo but nothing

Im just using a very basic psu mind you

The gfx is from a working board so it works guys an just says no signal

Well just hooked up to TV, still says no signal and NO beeps

just a standard psu, 230w, previous one in it was a 1000w so the button under the board?

i say 230 W it actually says 200-240, I didnt get anything with it Im afraid just got asked if i want it otherwise getting binned

But dont think il get hold of another psu to be honest, as I dont want to buy one in case it dont work
