Hi guys,
hoping someone here can help me, I recently opted into the SLI world on the back of some of OCUK's frankly mind boggling 670 prices!
now I know my old card (gigabyte windforce x3 670) is a reference 680 layout, however, it has the power connectors side by side, not stacked as per a stock 680, so I was wondering if anyone knew accurately which water-blocks will/will not fit on this card without causing issue with the power connectors
the second card IS a 680 pcb, complete with the stacked connectors, however, I am unsure if the specific model is a reference 680 pcb, or a slight variant, it was the KFA2 model on sale at £167.99 on the 16th of august, which Gibbo said was an asian variant never intended for UK shores! Looks reference to me, but I don't really want to drop almost £200 on blocks and tubing for it not to fit! (I'm one of those obsessive people, and tbh, a big part of the reason I want to add my cards to my loop is that it irks me that my cards look so different, but I think I can live with the slight power connector mis-match, so long as the water-blocks are the same design! another part of the reason is that I just acquired a couple of Laing DDCs
)

also, (to save me opening a new thread!) the res's on the pumps I just acquired have some gunk in one, and what looks like some flakes of copper corrosion in the other, I have been to town and bought some ''bottle brushes'', but am unsure what solution to use to clean it with.
was thinking possibly hot water with a bit of cilit bang...or maybe a dash of mayhems concentrate/de-icer, but would be interested to hear your thoughts!
(will add pics of reservoir filth later if anyone's interested!)
