Need a major upgrade

If need a major upgrade on my computer not had a upgrade in a good few years .... Being out of work and family .... I'm a total war fan so need the full works from case to mobo to psu got about 1K to spend at about end of November any help would be great want a SDD as main drive about 240gb and be setting up dual boot with my old 500gb drive to put Win7 on to play around with as looking at taking the 70-680 exam

Tbh its not worth getting a spec 60 days before you intend to buy as the prices bounce about so much that a good bang for buck system today could be a woeful waste at buying time.

Assuming you dont need peripherals your looking at an I5 with a 670 possibly a 7970 at today's money but with the new samsung drives just hitting the shelves who knows where their pricing is going to land in two months.
