I have a corrupted work file for the Avid editing program, the file contains a list of all the video clips in a project and also includes the timeline, which makes up the edit, now I can get the file open in notepad and I can see all the details in there so the actual file works but its corrupted when loading it up in Avid. I started a new project and have a new project file and I was thinking I could somehow transfer the information contained in the corrupt file to the new file so that I can get my timeline sequence back. (right click save as otherwise they'll open as text files, don't know if its some sort of programming language?)
