Need a mic for gaming

Ive had enough of typing while playing BF2 so im about to purchase one. Ive been looking at...

Logitech USB Desktop Microphone (SP-016-LG)

Does anybody use this mic for gaming? for BF2? With it being USB will compatability problems be worse than using a standard input jack mic?

Ps i dont want to use a headset as i currently use some rather expensive Seinheisers i recieved for my birthday last month

Come on dude, read the FAQ. No linking to competitors, OcUK is a business and Spie is trying to make a profit. And he also said no headsets and its also the american side of of the website, so its in dollars.

To be honest a desk mic is a desk mic, as long as its a decent maker then i cant see you having any bother. I used to have a Logitech headset and it was great until i broke it.

I just use a cheap £9 trust headset with mic.
Crystal clear sound and a bargain at £9

Logitech usually make good headsets just dont get the £10 cheapo ones
