need a motherboard with 8 satas

tbh you might be better getting a SATA controller card, they arent that expensive and typically, if you fully load all the ports on a motherboard you could max out the controller bandwidth and limit your performance.
 
well if you don't need them all on the same controller most of the AMD 800 series boards that OcUK list have both eight SATA ports split between SATA-II & SATA-III

TBH you may just want to purchase a couple of new terabyte hard drives when you buy your motherboard ... transfer your movies/tv/porn over to those spanking new drives ;)
