Thats a fairly good one, it's massive aswell so plenty room for mouse movement, smaller sizes are available if you so require

I use a goliathus at home(large) and work(small) using a MX518 and razer Deathadder and both glide flawlessly. They are the best mats I have ever used.
Its a weave, it is extremely fine however and is superb for CAD work and also gaming.
I personaly love the Goliathus cos you get loads of room to position things on etc and plenty of glide room. Don't worry about it being textured it will work perfectly with ur G5, It works a charm with my G9 (which is essentialy the same model)
