Need A (Multifunctional) Printer, Quick!

Hey guys,

As per title, my Epson has just died and I need a quick replacement - ideally another Epson

What are their new mutli's like, can anyone recommend me anything in particular?

I use a Brother MFC440 - colour printer/copier/fax/scanner with built in wired ethernet. £109 from well-known retail park stationery shop.

Thanks mate, but I've decided to go for the Epson DX6000

It drinks ink, but the print-outs/features are top notch - apparently

So I'm going to have to resort to non-gen, sooner, rather than later!

OMG but £109 for printer and scanner... We bought a Canon MP160 for around £40 which I will proudly say makes our old epson look... to put it bluntly CRAP!

Our epson drunk ink like a vampire does if let loose in a blood bank, it had a tendancy to clog aswell and the cycle of cleaning would begin which ment more trips to the shops for carts, my folks bought one of the top epson dual-function printers with a memory card slot built in and its bloogered already... :rolleyes:

epson dx3800 or higher model...the only drawback to the dx3800 is that it takes around 40secs - 1 minute to print black n white and slightly longer for colour...otherwise its great value for money..
