Need a new 120mm CPU cooler fan

Hi,

The fan on my CPU cooler is working but has started to rattle so I would like to replace it.

Is there such a thing as a CPU cooling fan - like are there case fans which are super quiet because the don’t throw as much air around and CPU fans that are noisier but push much more air?

For a heat sink you need high static pressure, its a bit of a gamble if the existing clips will fit your current cooler. What cooler is it?

What cooler do you have at the minute?

Assuming it's a mid range 120mm tower cooler, then something like Arctic's PWM fans would be ideal:

Not 100% sure but it looks like a Cooler Master 411, BUT it has two wire clips that hold the fan on not the plastic frame that is shown on the current model.

My cooler is a few years old so that may just be a design change.

Anyway, as long as it is 120mm and roughly the same thickness then the wire clips will work because they just hook into the mounting screw holes.
