Need a new ~15" laptop

My Dell XPS M1530 is on its last legs so I'm in the market for a new laptop.

There's an overwhelming choice so I have no idea where to start.

I don't play games or anything intensive. Main requirements are portable and decent looking. Budget of £500 max. Must have HDMI and preferably an SD card slot.

(Gonna sound like such a fanboy for this laptop) 11.6" Lenovo X121E the Intel varient.. have a look - Adore mine.
