Need a new camera

Hey folks not posted here in a long time as my old camera got stolen lol.

My mum and dad have offerd me £400 for a new camera as its my 21st in august.

What do you think would be the best to go for, i would love a DSLR is there any for around this price, it doesnt have to be the newest model a 2nd hand or factory recon unit would be fine.

let me know your thoughts or any other suggestions thanks.

cheers m8 so thats probably what i shall go for sounds like a good start, my mum said she can give me the money for it this week as Iam going up glencoe etc next week.

To be honest not having much like finding a Canon EOS 350D for under £450

anyone got a link to the canon refurb store cant find it on google.
