Ok, im moving home soon and the new house is further down the coast from were i live which means travelling down rough country roads, not very suitable for my Lowered Lude, im not sure if i should just get the suspension replaced with normal shocks and springs, or go for a new car.

Been looking at Mondeos and even a Navara but im not sure as id miss the VTEC goodness of the lude.

What would ya'll sugest, budget upto £4000, insurance not a concern as i am 34 with full no claims :)

Civic 1.8 VTi Aerodeck? (the estate version)

Volvo 850 T5

Mondeo ST200 estate?

Look for something with interest and practicality :)

The lude has been dropped 40mm, bit too much for the roads were i live.

Will check out the volvo, already considering the ST but not found any for sale so far, what sort of mileage should i expect in the price range ?

Not sure on the estate pricing but I got a 00W limited edition ST200 for £4k a few weeks ago (62k miles) so you should be OK. The roads up here are pretty poor without too many actual potholes aand my car's fine if a bit jolty at lower (<30mph) speeds.

but there was about 370 ST200 LTD edition made where as there was only about 150 ST200 estates made :)

Well having looked around and considering petrol and tax, it looks like its gonna be down to either a 2.0 Zetec of perhaps an MX-5 1.8 s, which would you choose and why ?
