Just sold my Olympus XZ-1 as it just wasn't being used. It was just far to faffy for the missus to bother with. It did get some ok pics but the hit rate wasn't great. I had a Panasonic tz20 before that, it was ok but a bit big and not quick enough.

Any suggestions would be welcome. I'm looking for something pocket sized, good in low light if possible. And just nice and easy to use. I used to have a nice canon ixus before it got water damaged so was considering the s95 or even the older s90 which are cheap as chips now.

Budget around £200. New or second hand

ANy of the s95/s100 range from Canon are great and on full auto wil take lovely pictures.

Just won a barely used S95 off the bay. Got it for less then I sold the XZ-1 for.

Hopefully it will get a bit more use then the Olympus.

I've always liked Canon compacts they seem to produce great results in full auto. They are very popular among my female friends for exactly that reason oh and they look pretty and fit in clutch bags apparently!
