I am on orange student deal and get 400mins and 1000 txts for £30 a month, which is fantastic. But i can go over the thousand texts and the minutes run out as i often make long calls at night, gf ect.

What can i get that will satisfy my needs? My gf is on vodaphone, and has 200mins and unlimited txts for £30 pm but the stop the clock thing is fantastic.

Vodaphone would work out fantastic for me as the stop the clock is brill and i could pay a bit more and go for a higher minutes bundle and unlimited texts are great.

I have been told however that they dont do unlimited txts any more. IS that the case and if so what other deals would be good for me?

They do, but you have to do the student deal which requires a valid UCAS code.

No need for UCAS code, I signed up with vodafone student tariff on the 31/01/06 with unlimited text/picture messages and stop the clock using my NUS card

Is it just me then or is this an amazing deal? My orange deal of 400mins and 1k txts was good but for an extra £10 (ie £40pm) i can have 500mins, thats 100 more, unlimited texts and also stop the clock which is brill.

Am i correct in saying that stop the clock is 7pm+ and all weekends?

7pm to 8am monday to friday, and right through the weekend.

Stop the clock is only available on 18 month contracts.

Also don't forget any unused minutes roll over to the next month with vodafone (don't know if orange do this, they didn't on my old text 3000 plan and i know t-mobile don't)
