Hi, thanks for taking the time to read this. I don't want to replace my RAM or graphics card just yet, they're stil very effective with games. I need a new motherboard because it's short-circuited or something.

Anyway, could anyone suggest which, if any of these I should buy, or any alternatives that can also be retrofitted. It has to be for an intel LG775 socket processor.

ECS 915P-A (not my first choice, apparently has comparatively weak features)
ASRock 4 Core Dual-SATA2
ASRock 4 Core Dual-VSTA (I think the major difference here is just SATA II capability from the former motherboard, which would be useful if I want a new HD one day)
Asus P5VDC-X Dual Core (Now I know Asus are a market leader, but I can't find one review for this board! Could someone link me?)

So those are the options so far. As I say, it has to be socket LG775, ideally ATX for a dual or quad Core 2 I'm going to buy.

Thanks for your time guys!

I've been reading mixed reports about them, and have only found one review so far, linked from testfreaks. I don't play games much any more, but if I wanted to get back into them, my comp could probably still hold it's own with this motherboard, as I have a Radeon Sapphire 1950pro, with PC-3200, 400Mhz OCZ 1GB DDR, and . I intend to get a core 2 duo, so hopefully I'll be able to play new games on moderate-high settings for a while to come.
