Need a new non-adsl router

Hi there,
Currently on NTL broadband and looking for a new router to buy. Don't need adsl. Wireless would be good however not nessercary. Needs good features and I'd like something modern and not 5 years old like some of them out there.

Cheers,
Michael

Calling it a "DSL router" is a bit misleading - it doesn't have a modem at all.

I'm a fan of the Linksys WRT54GLs (I use an old version of the WRT54GS - they're mostly similar), and the Netgear WGR614 is fairly popular too.
Both wireless, but you should be able to switch the wireless off (at least, you can on the WRT). The Linksys (and some other brands, from memory there's a Buffalo too) has a range of feature-enhancing third party firmware - www.linksysinfo.org.

Sorry about that - always thought cable was called dsl for some reason.
