So completed jedi survivor, really enjoyed it and it was exactly the sort of game I like playing, little bit of action bit of puzzling, nothing too taxing and most of all completable (if your not fussed about the pointless side quests which add nothing to the story).

I'd like to find a new game that's similar in gameplay,

Any recommendations?

Have you played any of the Souls games? They were pretty much the inspiration for the Jedi survivor gameplay.

You could play the original EA SW game, Jedi Fallen Order. It's not bad at all. You could try Cyberpunk 2077 or AC Valhalla

what have you placed last 10 games?

Darksiders maybe

This is pretty much the only game I've played. I've recently got back into pc gaming, and my son took over the Xbox 360 but just upgraded him to an Xbox series x.

Tried playing sensuas sacrifice but the game was really slow (not as in frames slow but storyline and gameplay) so couldn't get into it.

Tried playing the outer worlds again just couldn't get into it, bit slow and boring.

Tried dragon age of origins and couldn't get into it, just feels really drawn out and overly complicated I want a game to be fun and not laborious.

Tried FPS games but only really liked the original halo, couldn't get into the others, call of duty rainbow six etc just can't get into.

The last tomb raider game before the reboot I enjoyed. (Was quite some time ago)

Otherwise my go to game was Forza Motorsport 4.

What I liked about jedi survivor was it was relatively easy and fun, puzzles were fun, parkour was fun, ability learning was a good pace wasn't expected to know everything at once, story line was good enough to keep me interested, just really suited me and my ability to play games.

I've really struggle to find games that I enjoy (partly why I hadn't upgraded for over 15 years).

witcher 3, titanfall 2, the mass effect remaster (especially 2), AC Valhalla, Horizon zero dawn, but from what you say titafall 2 campaign will be right up your street - it was on sale last week on steam for only a few quid. Witcher 3 is on sale this week

Awesome great. Will get downloading them in the morning

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed is pretty casual and easy-going, but still loads of fun hacking away at stuff with a Lightsabre.
If you like it, there's also a sequel.
Additionally, wait a little while and they'll release Star Wars: Outlaws. That looks to be very good, from what little I've seen of it.

You might also enjoy some of the Assassins' Creed games. The earlier ones are the most fun, although later ones tend to keep adding more and more and more features. AC: Syndicate was pretty good, though.

i think these might suit (these ones i have not played).
Dead Space series
Red Dead Redemption 2
Bioshock

if you have people you play with, have you considered :
Payday 2 - Humble bundle deal £15
Portal 2 Co-op / single play

smaller of topic but might work
Observation
Subnautica

Had a look at them, went for cyber punk to start with was on special so wasn't too bad.

Not really enjoying it so far, but will play it a bit more and see. It's a really slow start

Think I prefer 3rd person view as opposed to first person

Had bioshock on the 360, couldn't get into it and I really really tried.

Will check the others out, red dead redemption looks good

strongly recommend either of the 2 zelda switch games if you have a switch.

plenty of puzzles, and all the exact correct amount of difficulty, in that they can sometimes take a few moments of thought to figure them out, but a kid could solve them all.

I do like a Zelda game, unfortunately don't have a switch though

I play games for the fun and story line, thus I do like them to be a little easy I'm not ashamed of saying that, if a game is overly complicated and difficult it's not enjoyable, I get the half hour here and there sometimes a couple of hours to play games and I want to maximise that time, not spend that time repeating the same level or boss etc
