Hi guys, I'm looking for some help choosing a new gaming mouse.
I've been using my first gen diamondback for 7 years and it's finally starting to give up and now I need a replacement. I don't have big hands and I'm mainly what I think is a either a fingertip/claw (possibly a mixture of the two lol) grip user, I've given a R.A.T 7 a feel in my local store and it feels like the right size and feel for me but keep hearing mixed reviews (nothing about the new 6400dpi version though) I've also tried the Steelseries Sensei and the thing is too big for me and I won't touch Roccat stuff due to my past experiences with them. Apart from the rat is there anything you would recommend for me to try?
Thanks in advance

Logitech G5. The mouse scroll is a bit naff for clicking (at least on mine but it's years old now, they might have sorted it) but generally a solid mouse.

Recently got the G500 after using stock dell mouse for years, and have never really seen the point of a "gaming mouse" but must say a few months into owning the g5 and im converted

dude..you go the same issues as me. Gamed for 5 years using 3 off same Razor mice (copperhead). Tried loads but couldnt get used to any of them...and alsways went and bought another copperhead. I also have small hands and use claw style grip, I cant use another grip at all...i tried.

Bought the Logitech G9x arround xmas...and loving it now. With the different shells etc. you can change the sze of it the way you like it. The small shell is perfect for me. Quite expensive, but worth it if you game a lot.

I would say the G500 but I'm on my second one and the right mouse button has gone dodgy like the one before Logitech returns are good though.

Personally I am very happy with my razer abyssus. Not too expensive yet it feels great and has adjustable polling and dpi on the mouse its self.
The only thing I would say is that if you like heavy mice you may find this a little light

Razer Lachesis, or just go for the cheaper, more or less identical version, the Deathadder.
