Need a new gaming PC - what specs should I aim for in order to play these games?

Hello,

I was hoping you guys could help me. I'm looking to buy a whole new gaming PC, for the first time in 10 years.

I would really only be using it to play games that I don't think would be extremely system intensive? Mainly Sims 4, and upcoming games like RollerCoaster Tycoon 4, and Planet Coaster (https://www.planetcoaster.com)

I would need to buy components like keyboard, mouse. I do have an old PC monitor from about 2007 - a 22inch Digimate L-2231WD Widescreen 5ms DVI TFT Monitor - but I am willing to consider buying a new monitor if you think it's a little too outdated?

What kind of system level/price do you think I should be aiming for in order to play these games decently? Would £500/600 be a good budget? Could I go cheaper/should I aim higher?

I would ideally prefer to get a prebuilt model, but appreciate it might be significantly cheaper to build it myself?

Your advice would be super helpful. Thanks so much in advance!

I figured the monitor might need replacing - thanks for suggesting.

For the desktop, do you think this prebuilt model would suffice? I appreciate that my requirements are speculative, seeing as some of the games I'd like to play are not yet released, but if you could estimate, that would be really helpful
