need a new gpu, spec me some mac gpu action (agp retro love within)

looking to beef up my old mdd G4 a bit and the current ati pro 16 meg card just doesnt cut the mustard


can anyone shed light on whats the beefiest agp card i can slot into my G4?


i'm under the impression that i can get a mac 7000 series that will work but they seem rarer than rocking horse poo and rather pricey when they do show up


what options do i have guys?

jeez mac agp cards go for silly money

looking at refurbd 9700's going for 170 quid
