need a new graphics card

Hi

I have atm a 7800GS oc 256mb AGP and looking for a new PCIE card
would the cards bottom be anygood and how much better they are to the 7800AGP ( i would i see a lot more fps?

or any other cards in my price ranged that you thinks good.


£140 is my limit maybe more

( i am upgrading the pc with a pcie motherbaord as well .

The 7900GS or x 1950 aren't that much of an upgrade from your 7800GS, the Ichill is clocked about 20% faster and the x1950pro isn't far off this performace.

If you want a cheap card to tide you over then get a x1950pro for ~£75

If you can stretch to a little over you budget, the current action is around the 2900pro or the 8800GTS. ~£ 170 , maybe a little less depending who has a deal.

I don't know of any cards in between that justify their price.

yeah i mean at £170 i could get a nice card umm maybe i would up my limit to get some thing around that price as the extra £30-40 can get a pretty nice card when i think about it
