Hey all,

I will be moving in to a house adjacent to that of my parents (which we have just built) within a few weeks and need to get myself a BT landline (as well as the internet).

Anyway, the question is.. currently the house (which is a converted barn) is wired via an extension to my parents house and thus operates on the same number when a call comes in (not ideal).

I need BT to come and run a seperate line to the house and disconnect the existing extension so that I can have my own net etc etc.. anyway, does anyone know how much this would cost?

Thanks in advance :)

I would have thought it would have been easier to carry on with your thread HERE instead of near enough asking the same thing in a new thread.

Thanks guys,

I already found that price on the BT.com site but I was just asking because it's not a brand new installation of sorts, more like a move/change of address and wasn't sure of what to do / who to call.

So you reckon £125 then? Even though it's essentially a simple move (on their part)
