Need a new mic solution

I started off with my G6 and K702 (With adapter) and Vmoda boompro
As my headphone collection grows, I'm also having to mod headphones to 3.5mm jack or buy different adapters to make the Vmoda boompro compatible.

I've recently just bought some Beyerdynamic T1 gen 2's which has a 3.5mm input to each ear so as far as I am aware it will not be possible to use the Vmoda now as nothing exists to jimmy it in line with two inputs to the headphone.

So what solution would be best. I've considered a boom arm desk mic but most are pretty large and take up a fair bit of space. My other consideration is an Antlion Modmic wireless but thinking it may be a faff with a 12hr battery life.

Any suggestions?

I like the Modmic wireless, but they recently raised the prices on their products by quite a bit, making it harder to recommend. If I was buying now I'd probably go for a shorter shotgun mic on a small arm like the magic arm or something like that. Maybe even a decent lavalier mic would do the trick?

I would have probably gone for the modmic wireless but I'm just not too keep on a 12hr battery life. If it was double that then I probably would have bought it and been done with it.
I'm considering one of the Fifine microphones or a Blue Yeti nano or similar currently.

For the record, I appreciate the recommendation of our ModMic and totally understand the pricing issue. We've got multiple plans in motion to fight the price increase due to the chip shortage. Hopefully some news soon, while that doesn't fix your current issue of needing a mic now, be on the lookout! :)

Thanks for taking the time to respond. I assume you meant for me to keep a look out? If there were mumblings of a longer battery life modmic, I may just hold off potentially.

Well, I meant for both of you, but I wouldn't wait to be honest if battery life is the issue. That "someday improved Wireless" is still a ways away unless things unfold far more rapidly than I expect. Pricing I am working on something more short-term that I ALSO can't talk about but REALLY want to. It sounds dumb to say when every headline read "chip shortage" - but it took us by surprise... not that prices went up, but by how much. The aptX chips that run the wireless went up in price around 150%. Hence the unpleasant new price tag :(. Anyway, long way of saying we try to be transparent when we can, but things like "new products" and when they launch is something I can't comment on too much, mostly because the smallest dumb thing can derail production schedules (We recently experienced a multi-month delay on a new unannounced product because we couldn't get a shirt clip we liked... the equivalent of turning in your term paper late because your stapler was out of staples).

Hey thats no problem at all! Good of you to even come on and give some feedback on the products. Never know, I may just get one in the end!
