I'm really stuck with choosing my new lcd monitor for gaming, but I dont really want to go past the £150 mark. I'm thinking of going with this 20" one:

However I'm not sure if this will be good for gaming, I'm under the impression it will due to the 2ms response time?

Will it look good at lower resolutions such as 1024x800 or 800x600?

I'm happier to get a different monitor if its in my price range and is good for gaming, I also don't mind going for a 19" monitor.

Will this be the best option for me?

don't be fooled by the stated response time of monitors... whats more important in gaming is input lag. The only way to find that out is either test it yourself, or look for reviews stating the measurement of input lag.. do not buy statements like "I can't feel any input lag at all.", as regular people won't notice it, but if you play competetively, there is a very good chance the monitor won't cut it for you.

I'll try and look up some monitors for you If I find the time.

Thanks for the info, it seems so hit and miss trying to get a good tft. I'm considering waiting it out for the 120hz lcds to start selling without the 3d specs, I guess I'd have no problem investing £300 into a good gaming monitor.
